About Victoria

Victoria from forest edge chiropractic in Ringwoood

Victoria Wheeldon is a highly experienced chiropractor based in Ringwood, offering evidence-informed, patient-centred chiropractic care for people looking to move better, feel stronger, and understand their pain. With a background in clinical practice, higher education, and medical education, she combines hands-on treatment with clear communication and realistic rehabilitation.

Originally from Oxfordshire, Victoria’s interest in healthcare developed early through a family background in medicine and a love of the natural sciences. Her own experience of resolving persistent neck pain through chiropractic care in her twenties led her to pursue a career in chiropractic, where she now brings both empathy and clinical expertise to every consultation.

Clinical Skill Set

Victoria provides individualised chiropractic treatment plans, tailored to each patient’s presentation, lifestyle, and goals. Her approach typically includes:

  • Joint manipulation and mobilisation

  • Soft tissue techniques and massage

  • Stretching and mobility work

  • Medical acupuncture/dry needling for musculoskeletal conditions

  • Progressive, realistic rehabilitation exercises

She places strong emphasis on education and self-management, helping patients understand the cause of their symptoms and how to prevent recurrence.

Specialist Areas

Victoria has particular clinical interests in:

  • Musculoskeletal pain associated with menopause

  • Musculoskeletal conditions in older adults

  • Neck and shoulder pain

  • Knee pain

  • Biomechanics of horse riders and equestrian-related injuries

  • Chronic pain conditions

She treats patients aged 8 years and above, and enjoys the variety and problem-solving nature of general chiropractic practice.

Clinical Expertise

Victoria is known for her calm, approachable style and her ability to explain complex problems clearly and reassuringly. Her background in education allows her to adapt explanations to each patient, which often leads to faster recovery and better long-term outcomes.

She works collaboratively with patients, focusing on what matters most to them — whether that’s returning to work, staying active, riding, walking comfortably, or simply living with less pain and more confidence.
